I'm guessing the Clearwater around Orofino, ID and looking for some metalheads.

Just got back, fished three days.  first day was extremely cold. but caught over 20 steelhead. all in the 12-14 lb range!!!!! one fish was 16-18 lbs. next day the upper river around Kooskie was spitting lots of ice. but we still fished. very comical. still boated 3 fish.  third day we thought the river would be better still spitting ice water had cooled again so steelhead were acting like steelhead. still boated 5 fish.  First day was drifting eggs from a jet boat the last two were in the upper river in a driftboat with diver and bait.  Great time, love that river!!!! Good luck.

Well I'm sitting at work missing all the fun we had on the river :'( Thursday the four of us caught 18- 20 fish with 8 of them being keeper. Friday started slow but picked up with us still catching around 15 fish but only 4 keepers :'( Saturday the weather was nice and the river was packed so we pretty much just drank beer and had a nice relaxing day.
