They are really nice they took a couple more miles to break in than I would prefer but well worth it.  :twocents: I havent hunted in them yet but we went in 6 miles down on the penninsula hiking and they did great

Good looking boot!  They say the longer the break in the better the boot. Made in the usa that is a plus, what do they run in price?

That is the boot that the Army is now taking to Afghanistan.  I have friends who are currently using it over there and they said it is AWSOME!!!  They basically live on their feet hiking mountains more rugged than anthing we have here with 70lbs of gear on constantly.  So if they like it then it must be a good boot.  Especially since it's lasted 9 months now for my buddy. None of us is gonna walk that much in 5 years of hunting.

I have wore them for a week, done a couple 800' elevation/mile climbs on flat/rocky trail, one with 35lb pack on. Love them so far. No hot spots, they are only partially broken in. Good support, comfortable. Not a big fan of the lacing system yet. There is nothing to snag on brush, but kinda tough to cinch them tight, the laces slip/relax back through the D-ring. The reason for this may be the lace material. I would rate them 8/10 so far. Haven't had a chance to get them wet and hike in them yet. I'll update this thread after further testing.
