call me a gramar freak but...  it just erks me..... its SAY-BOH  not SA-BOT

A sabot (pronounced /ˈseɪboʊ/ SAY-boh or /ˈsæboʊ/ SAB-oh) (French for a wooden shoe or clog) is a device used in a firearm or cannon to fire a projectile, such as a bullet, that is smaller than the bore diameter, or which must be held in a precise position.

really got to me when i saw it called a sa-bot on national tv...................

What kind of bugs me is when people choose not to use spell check in combination with grammar errors.  :chuckle:  They truly would be pretentious if they lectured about grammar....

isn't irk spelled I R K just sayin ;) and interesting had no idea thats how it was pronounced....

so here is a question how is nosler pronounced I've heard it said a couple ways  :dunno: still not sure

I just call them "those bullets with the plastic thingy on em' ".  Sa-boh or sya-bow or whatever does sound gay so I hillbilly it up to bring back some manliness back into the conversation.  With than said, I am also a grammar snob.  Growing up with a dozen teachers in my family makes me ultra aware of mispronunciations and grammatical errors, but I tend not to correct someone unless it is my wife or kids.
