Surprised he looked so healthy, would think it would be difficult for him to eat.  Would be a cool Euro mount!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Is that some new evolution so he could dig in the frozen ground to find food or WHAT!?!?

Is there a story behind this buck?  What went through your head before taking him?  It would be a cool story!

Don't know that I could shoot that.   It might gross me out just a little.

4-5 years ago, my elk hunting partner and I watched a spike elk (legal where we were) feed for better than a half hour while I tried to convinve him to go shoot it.   It looked something like that on one side and typical on the other.....   It was too wierd to be "unusual" and more on the "gross" side.   Neither of us made the stalk.....

That's wild!

Here's one that grew so non-typical to be rendered unscorable.  I took this pic at a Bass Pro in Jackson, MS.

Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Wow! I first thought that was a movie prop or something! So was he right next to the Hanford Nuclear Power Plant when you got him or just off to the side a bit? I wonder if his meat would glow in the dark? Thanks for removing him from the breeding line up. I don't think you'll get much accolades from Boone and Crockett, but WA Fish and Wildlife would probably love to look him over. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Was it a blacktail or mulie.  The terrain says mulie but being it is a two piont I'd say blacktail with the 3 point min. on mulies.
