he was still alive and yes that was the first arrow. I spined him. I got out of the stand and he could not get up, at 5 yards I put 3 arrows in the chest and I heard bolth lungs go out and he still lived for about 5 min. I felt really bad for him. now that it is done i should have shot him in the neck.I got all of it on the cam of when he came in to the shot. again I felt really bad.he was the toughest deer that I have ever killed. long live the beast.

wow, thats pretty cool. Unfortunate that you couldnt have made a better shot but thats hunting and it happens. got more pics of the buck? Looks like a good one!
