Live coyotes
« on: February 26, 2011, 05:48:13 PM »
I don't know if there has been a thread on this before, but I thought that I would throw it out. Maybe others have pics to add. I took this picture a while back while hiking with just a handgun and camera, so it lived to see another day. I have others to add if any interest.

This is a coyote pup that I followed for a long ways on a logging road. It never looked back at me and was just walking up hill and side to side looking for something to eat I guess. It was just looking and sniffing at the edges of the road. It stopped at one point and acted like it heard something over the edge and took off like a race horse. At the time I felt like it was awful young to be wandering around by itself. It just looked like walking food for something else to me.
