will have to figure out a different safety device since this one will be inoperable now.maybe i will just order the sporter safety and call it good.
can you post up a tutorial on how you changed out that bolt handle? I'd love to be able to put a larger one on mine.

I'd love to be able to put a larger one on mine.my buddy sdid mine for me, all that it was is a cutoff wheel on a die grinder, cut the bolt off where i wanted it cut, then got a different bolt and cut the handle off that too and married them together with a TIG welder.i didnt do it myself but it was really basic work if a person knows TIG welding.

I was hoping it was a simple swap out of parts. I don't weld nor do i want to pay a welder to do the work. Thanks though.
got the bolt reworked again, now have short rings and a different scope on it, wanted the wide view new bushnell i have on there. oh well.i will bend the bolt handle to fit my good scope later on, dont want to remove much more steel off the bolt handle until i see how the rifle functions on a range day.if anyone has a bunch of .223 ammo near kent they dont want let me know i may buy some off you.
