I have a mossberg 1000 12g made by howa and the piston shock absorber for the gas system has pretty much melted is self away. i have done a little research and found its a pretty common problem. i would like to know if the parts for the 1000 not made by howa will fit my gun. i have found all the parts i think i need on the numrich website but dont want to commit by buying if there not going to fit. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
