Niether is very good, but if I would say that I have seen more deer in the auhanum side than the cowiche. But don't spend very much time up there anymore.

Pick somewhere out of the Yakima basin for early arhcery .  You would be wasting time.  It would suck up there for early deer.  Unless you get by private land and have a honey hole, but that aint goning to happen.

Nasty creek sucks for deer hunting unless you have a doe tag. Legal bucks are few and far between. Alot of road hunters up there and target shooters.

Does anybody know how much pressure the cowiche gets during early archery deer season?  im thinking about applying for the archery bull tag and want to hunt unpressured elk. i dont want to compete against people blowing bugles for fun.

There's no pressure in the cowichie, barely anyone goes up there! Elk and deer everywhere and there not pressured at all :P
