Too bad.  :'(  I met him at the album debut of Dirt at Tower Records in Downtown Seattle. Friend of mine and I only got to talk to him for about 5 minutes and he seemed pretty jacked up then. He was pretty intense but also very friendly and down to earth. He acted like everyone else and not like a mega rockstar.  Alice in Chains is one of my all time favorite bands.

nothing is for sure yet but id say he overdosed.  i was listening to Loveline with Dr. Drew on 107.7 the end the night of the death of Mike starr and dr drew said he talked to mike recently before his death and mike was complaining of back pains and dr drew warned him not to go to the dr because they will just give him pain killers and not long after dr drew said that mike was found dead so im guessing he went off and got himself some pain killers and killed his pain. RIP MIKE STARR U ROCKED IT
