Heard it sucks. Check out the Columbian newspaper online, they have a report section.  I wish it were hot, so I could go fish that little crazy loop by the bridge :chuckle: Other than Alaska, thats the one of the only other places I think most guys are carrying sidearms.

The last time I fished Blue creek, we had some drunk ol guy flashing some revolver and asking us if we had a lighter so he could smoke a bowl. He was in his sixty's. All four of us kinda surrounded him calmly. He wasn't threatening or anything, but none of us dare turned a back to him till he was long gone. So yeah, I'm sure a high percentage of bank guys are packin on that river too :o

The heat did heat the Wind up. drano has putzed along all season. I've been there 3 days a week for 4 weeks almost. We have had way more consistantcy at the Wind trolling. The bankies at the Wind are struggling this year as the Wind is very cool. The best bites are all in the warmer outside edge waters.

With the counts going down its lookin like sad numbers. The jacks have peaked and that is a sign of the run coming to an end. (2 weeks)

Id imagine though, most have gone home so Im sure a boater or bankie could do beter there now.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.
