If so how did you do this year? I only made one trip due to my workload but did real well.

You paid all that money and only went once!?   :o   I hope that one trip was about two weeks long?    :dunno:   My dad, brother, and I were members back in '97 and killed quite a few birds. I continued hunting birds over there for several years after that on public lands but haven't been going much for the last five years or so. I did get the dog over there once last season (2009) with a friend from this board, for 4 or 5 days and I think we ended up with about 10 birds. I was wondering how it was this past season with the wet and cold weather we had in the spring.

ONE trip  :yike: ouch. I hope it was a blast, glad you did well. I know it is a long drive, but that hurts. Glad you are employed, but you gotta fix that schedule a bit before next fall. I was wondering how you did with the membership, I remember your post from last year when you mentioned you joined.

Hunting club down in Garfield County (south of the Snake River).

Yes, there is another Deadman Creek besides the one in your area.

I have called them probably ten times over the last 2 years and have yet to get a return call. I am surprised they have any members with that kind of history.

Seems a bit expensive, but we still have not heard whether is it worth obtaining a membership. 750 for a year is a lot. I hope you get to go more this year if you buy another membership.

Yes I'm a member and I really like it. Lots of birds (for WA) and they limit the memberships to 30. Only problem is it is out in the middle of NO WHERE best bet is a camper or trailer as they do have an RV lot. They have a store and little resturant but is closes right after Deer season.

Shannon email them that seems to be the best way to contact them and that can also take a couple days. The managers name is Jack and he is a good guy.

there is tons of hunting by written permission land all around there seems to be a bit spendy for birds
In this country we have no place for hyphenated Americans.
