Moses Lake
« on: March 30, 2011, 11:28:31 AM »
So I am hoping to take my 5 year old cousin fishing next week.  He lives over in Moses Lake and I am gonna be over there Monday or Tuesday.  I live in Seattle and dont know the area over there very well.  I am just looking to get him into some fish, dont care what they are or how big they are just want him to catch something.  Any help or suggestions would be apreciated.  Thanks.

You could jump on the fill and do some snagging, The walleye are starting to run up crk to spawn. I guess its best after midnight, I here to snag em! :) I have tried fishing it a few times and never caught 1, but I here its easy they bite everything and you can catch a limit of 12 pounders.! :o

I personally think most folks down there are snagging them but thats just me.

Yes, the savages and meat whores are snagging and yes it is illegal.  The problem is the wardens know its going on and dont do *censored* about it!

Atta kid AK - good jack... take your personal issues into a dedicated thread. Not what this guy was asking for. I've seen your posts before and believe that you can contribute on a more substantive basis. Keep it to the topic.

Ya I guess I got on a tangent, 10-4 good buddy, just letting him know the fill is running and the fish are moving!

All good man. I just hate seeing how these go sometimes.

Topic related, I'll more than likely be heading that direction next weekend. Hopefully something good to report.

Not true at all. Wardens know about this problem and patrol it quite often. So many fish poachers at so many different areas this time of the year. With limited wardens, complaints like this piss me off. You can go out there and take pics and license plates if your disturbed with it instead of complaining.  :twocents:

If I didnt have to drive a hour and a half I would, believe me.  And no, the wardens are not doing enough about the problem, if they were snagging stealhead or salmon they would be writing tickets every night.

The Deputy Sheriffs are doing someting about it. They are fishing the Alder fill and the spillways looking for snaggers. They are writing tickets too! F&W is in contact with the Deputies.
