I wouldn't want a rifle with a three position safety. Not that there's anything wrong with it, I just am not used to a safety like that, and I don't see the advantage to it.
Someone told me those weatherby's had a problem with the bolt accidentally falling out? Is there any truth to that?
Speaking of 3-position safeties, the new Browning X-bolt is supposed to have a 3 position tang safety according to the article I read in American Rifleman. Sounds very similar to the safety on my Steyr. The X-bolt sounds like a decent rifle........have any of you guys seen one yet?
I like the Weatherby mark V actions and the Remington 700. The new Remington actions with the child locks suck I will never buy one of those.
