Arrow snot is great!
« on: April 04, 2011, 06:49:30 PM »
Sound pretty gross, but this stuff works! I shoot a 2011 Mathews z7 Extreme @ 72 lbs. (cranked up to the max) with 400 grain carbon arrows. I was having a hard time getting these hard hitting carbon arrows out of the targets until my friend introduced me to this great product Arrow Snot! I apply it to the front 8 or so inches of my arrow and now I pull them out of the targets with ease! Just wanted to share this with you and maybe you had something to add, thank you for your time!!
Aim small, miss small.

I use woodys lube just a little dab on both sides at the tip and your good to go. One other thing I do is wrap my shaft. Wrapping my shaft dosent aid in pulling it out but the lube sure does! :chuckle:

I need to invest in some of it for my bows. My xforce at 83lbs sinks them into foam pretty hard :chuckle: After a 3d shoot my arms are dead. Not from shooing my bow, but from pulling arrows :chuckle: None of my friends want to pull my arrows :chuckle:

I agree but your arrows can't stick that bad.

I don't know about yo guys but I like to bury more than just the tip. The use of lube sounds like it would be a very effective way to help in getting maximum penetration while adding an easy retrieval. I'm gonna have to try some since I like to let loose several every evening.

I use Gold Tip EZ pull tips. Their design makes pulling arrows much easier. Scroll down on this link and check em out.

I shot my first 3D last year out at Great N/W archery in Puyallup. My first round every arrow was a B#$CH to pull out. I couldn't believe how hard the arrow was to get out, I almost left a couple I was so frustrated. Came back into the shop & was introduced to Woody's . What a relief. I also use it at home on my broadhead target, works great. Mike

Second the Rineharts...

Woody's is good as well as a good arrow puller.

I just got a new Rinehart 18-1 block and its hard to pull em out. The reviews said they were hard to pull but I got it for durability. The reviews were right! The 18-1 block is a hard puller. I'm shooting a 70 pound Guardian with 425 grain total weight Beemans at 30" draw. Definitely gonna get some Woody's!
