I just bought a little .22lr to add to my collection. Its a H&R break action single shot. Seems to be a tack driver using iron sights. Since this one is single shot, I want to turn it into a long range gun.
I think looking for a 3-4" 200 yard group with the rifle that you're shooting with the ammo that you want to shoot is unattainable.3-4" at 100 maybe on a dead calm day from the bench, my 10/22 will do that...but ain't happening at 200.
I have never heard of anybody ever mentioning anything like this with a gun of this caliber. You might want to settle on 50 yds, as I'm guessing you won't be able to group them consistant at 3" at 100. I may be wrong................
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
