After that it was all fun and games, and dang good food.

Croix shooting the bow
Bearmanric and K357
Some of the ladies enjoying the fire.
Most of the crew deciding that fire probably made their arthritis feel better... old folks ya know...
Then the little ones got to make marshmellows and smores.
It was an awesome time... thanks again to Jim and Gladys for their hospitality.

That was fun time and meeting many for the first time. Jim and his #1 wife sure know how to throw a Hunting Gathering. I came a little late but had time to taste that apple pie. Happy Birthday Del, which I did not make the birthday cake. epq21 your trailer is the ticket...

WOW! what a great time. i really enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. the only thing better than the food was the people.
my wife could not be happier with the quilt. it looks great in our "deer room" - thanks elite1 and wife. it's as if it were made specifically for us and i am deeply appreciative. now i've gotta find time to get my euro elk on to my new pedestal mount - thanks woodman. my survival bracelet is in my hunting pack and ready for season to begin - thanks flinger.
biggest thanks to rasbo and #1 for their gracious hospitality. you are truly special people and i hope i don't have to wait until next year to see you again.

Jim and Gladys thank you so much for hosting such an amazing BBQ. The Kidd's have not stopped talking about it and we certainly had a great time. Everyone was very gracious and wonderfull with the Kidd's. Food and beverages never stopped flowing and the camaraderie was great fun.
Croix and I thought it might be a good idea to only play shoes once every other year to give everyone a chance next time...
I will have to look at bringing some kind of large target to shoot at next time so we can all hit the target and not lose arrows...maybe something like a stuffed refrigerator box. I think we should all be able to see that size target
All kidding aside it was a great event and my whole family loved the event. Thank you to all that attended and contributed their time, friendship and quality items to raffle or give away. This is a great event with a good group of people.
Jim, thanks again as always for going beyond the call to ensure all have a great time or get what they need. You and your wife are fantastic hosts and exceptional people.
