3D shoot
« on: April 12, 2011, 07:46:40 PM »
Got my bow sighted in up to 60 yards today. I'm getting ready for the 3D shoot this weekend put on by Capitol City Bowmen. It's my first ever tournament and I'm very excited/nervous.

Is anybody else going to this tournament? Also, any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated.

No reason to be nervous. Just relax and shoot. A marked yardage 3D is perfect for your first time. Less chance of loosing arrows and getting discouraged. Main thing is not to take it too seriously and have fun.

Good luck!

Finished today with a 797 out of 925. I didn't even lose any arrows.  Can't wait for tomorrow!

‎502 out of 616 today. Not quite as good as yesterday but I was more consistent. Just a couple targets that I'm pretty sure I used the wrong pin. Most importantly though....no lost arrows! Haha. Highlight of the day was scoring 21 on a moose that was 88 yards away. That's one in the bullseye and one in the big ring on the target
