I bought a GP75 AK from J&G recently and it's been great fun, not a single problem and I haven't been nice to it! The first time out I had the hand guards smoking  :chuckle: , it really is a lot of fun. I made my choice based on the majority of the rifle being new US made and it getting really good reviews. Accuracy seems decent, I haven't checked it on paper but it seems surprisingly easy to hit with once I adjusted the front sight up to bring it's POI down, I was shooting right over the top of everything before.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Put in a word to hammers that you are looking for an sks I got my perfect condition chinese one from there for 150 I happened to walk in at the right time they usually don't take them but if you say you are looking for one the deal will walk in on them and you can get a pretty sweet deal. The best are non-refurb russians, and chinese are not half bad at all mine was a nice rifle (traded in a deal for an AR-15), Yugos are the beefiest of them all, just no chromed bore not a problem if you clean vigorously every time. Bestway pawn in Yakima always has them in but at inflated prices....they have a romainian for 350!!!!! way way too much... check around at the stores but hammers has pretty good deals on them Valley gun and pawn in Yakima has them for around 250 sometimes too. If you are in the Yakima area there are alot of good places... My advice dont pay more then 275 or 300 for a perfect conditino chinese (the value of mine), 400-500 for a good russian, yugo got for 300-400 used "buubaed ones go for about 250 or so and check out seattle guns.net,  I suggest you get this you get the accuracy of the 20" barrel of an sks and its utter simplicity and a good rifle feel, and the ability to AK mags this is one awesome firearm I would get this if you are not into accuracy.... if you want accuracy get a bolt .223 rifle.

Sorry it has a 16" bbl didnt see that still better then any rickety AK
Why have one gun when you can have more?
