Ugh Fedex
« on: April 21, 2011, 02:57:04 AM »
Sorry guys just venting a little...I was suppose to have my bow on the 18th, did my tracking and saw that it was then suppose to be the 19th.  Checked on the 19th showed out for delivery in my town.  6 pm rolls around no bow.  Check tracking and I see a note saying "unable to find apartment/suite number".  I call their customer service and confirm they have all the right address information and I give them my phone number.  They tell me "oh they couldn't find your apartment".  I again tell them I live in a house and they have my correct address.  CS says I should have it the next day.  I check again on the 20th.  I see that it is in transit back to East Wenatchee...with a note saying "unable to find recipient".  I again call CS and they tell me the same thing that my apartment couldn't be found and I re-confirm I LIVE IN A HOUSE no apartment next to me and they have my right address...they tell me check back tomorrow I should have it.    :bash:  So here I wait hoping my bow isn't headed back to the shipper.  :'(  I live in a small town and I could not find a single number for the local operation to actually speak with one of their ground troops to square this issue away and of course, CS couldn't/wouldn't give me that info.

Anyways, what will be the first things I need for my bow?  I am on a pretty tight budget but I would like to get going asap and get practicing.  It does come with sights, quiver, 2 arrows and a cheap arrow rest.  Still learning all the parts and what they do, so I have a long ways to go but I am super excited if my bow ever gets here.  I can't wait to learn more from you guys and share my experiences!

Short of being a smart a$$, I'd say the most important thing you'll need are 'arrows', LOL.
Very sorry to hear about your FedEX troubles. I've got a dozen FedEx horror stories I could tell myself. Never have troubles like that with USPS or UPS.

Arrows, a release, then take it in to an Archery shop and have it setup. Have the arrows fit to your draw length and have your arrows cut for it. A sight might help too.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
