NorthWest Rivers Open Sunday

Well it's that time a year for some steelheading and some chinok salmon fishing. The Sky is still high but has good color and hear thats some salmon are alredy at the hatchery. It may be a crowded day out at the local haunts, but eager to try my hand once again for a chinok. Hopefully it will be a good opener. With the rivers flowing high and fast the upper parts should be holding fair amounts of fish, well guess we'll see come early sunday morning. One place that might be good is reiter for some steelhead, but it is a foot race to get a spot as it opens up at 5:30 am. I have never seen quiet a sight as full grown men running there butts off to get a spot. Angrys can fly there, it is combat fishing at its finest. Ought be funny watching the guys in there boats this year getting stuck on shallow troughs. So how many are going to be out on the sky or your favorite rivers come sunday?

i didn't look at the charts, but it is still huge and mostly mud brown this afternoon, which should be no surprise. too many cows piss at the same time and this river blows out.

That's been that way since I was a kid growing up there in Duvall. It's never taken much to blow out that river. But depending on height I've caught fish there when it's brown.

Well after getting up at 3 am and hitting the mouth of the wallace at 4:30 am all I caught was a damn sucker. So in other words a sucker for a sucker LOLOL. There was one king caught at around 18lbs and 1 steelhead hatchery at 16 lbs and 2 more hatchery steel head at around 5 to 9 lbs. That's out of about 25 or so guys. Lousy odds oh well had fun anyways. The hatchery is bare no fish. All the boats that were launched at sultan I assume went down stream as the tards that did come up to the mouth were bagging rocks as usual, dumb asses. Oh and of course you had the asswads from three rivers marine out there. I have had bad dealings with those guides there as a bank fisherman and would like to do nothing but sink there guides that mess with the bank fisherman. Not many around here can stand there guides. Flipping ______ ya know to naughty to say here. In all a good day. Should be week or so before they start coming up to the hatchery.
