Good luck with the gobblers. These boys clammed up big time. Two evenings and one morning and only 6 gobbles. I have only seen five birds in two days....total. Its a spot and stalk. My boy got two and so did I last night. The one I got sported a bushy 8-1/2" beard and 3/4
' spurs, and weighed all of 11 pounds. really, i mean really thin. The breast meat was the size of my palm. No fat sack. he was surely hea :dunno:thy until his demise.  :dunno:

Goin feeshin now :IBCOOL:

Just got back last night from the same area.  I killed a nice tom that came in, 20 minutes into our trip, thought it was going to be the best trip ever.  The next two days were almost silent:( except for the roost.  They really clammed up.  I thought i was going to slaughter them with the weather we had been having.

Heading to North Spokane on the 20th for ten days to do a little work on the place and of course hunt. Hope that they are still vocal.

Congratulations on the birds.

They have been pretty quiet. I was out 2 days early in the week and did not hear a single turkey sound. The one I killed came in as quiet as a mouse.

Told ya. Hope it works out for the rest of you. I went fishing at Potholes. Anyways. Spot and stalk now. I never went out this late in the season, but there were no gobbles in the am, good luck!
