williams creek?
« on: May 15, 2011, 09:28:33 PM »
So I was driving on 101 buy the hatchery today and I saw some bright yellow new signs that said no trespassing. Now did Warehouses sell that area to another logging company because those signs were not there last year I think, and will archery hunters be access that still? They didn’t say Warehouser on them.

The signs will soon change to gates, and the gates will open up the day before modern for deer and close after modern late deer.

is this an assumption or do you know this for sure?

Ya, it will be open to the public just by via foot, until october, then they are going to open the gates for modern.

Did you see the new signs on the road just east of the hatchery or is it the road after you cross the bridge?

Hancock does leave some gates open in Bear River after rifle season so there have been gates open for late archery sine they bought land there. The combination of that and the addional of cow harvest for the early archery season have basically ruined that unit. I imagine as far as the gates go that the same will approach will be used in Williams Creek.
