I’m not finding much, lots of tracks but few animals.  Some does and a couple of bears is all that I’ve run across lately.  I must be looking too low.

How high are you guys able to get before you hit snow?  I'm trying to figure out when to go scouting down by St. Helens and Mt. Adams, but I don't know when to expect enough snow to have melted to actually do some significant scouting.

Scattered patches at about 2500 and the road became impassable at 3300.  But that was over a week ago and it was melting fast.

Finally have a honey hole, so no scouting needed. Just hunting. Took years to find the right spot. Saves gas and time. Will still hike up where I hunt, wife wants to see the spot I continuously talk about.

No scouting for me....ok, I may...but I'm thinking I'm going to follow bankwalker....and then come out of no-where and take his animal.

I've never hunted St. Helens, nor do I live in the area, so I definitely need to do some scouting.  Just trying to figure out the areas I want to hunt...  :)
