Went out this weekend
« on: May 31, 2011, 06:00:07 PM »
Some friends and I went out to the potholes over the weekend. The weather was great, but the fishing wasnt. I think the high water level and the water temp had alot to do with it. Hopefully it heats up for the tournament. We fished from Mardons, Frenchmans, up by the spill ways, and on the sides if the ORV park. It was pretty much the same everywhere. But we did notice the night time fishing was much better than the day. Oh, and my girlfriend shot here first fish, it was awesome! I started to think she wouldn't get one, but finally after about 50 shots she got one. I couldn't have been more pumped up!!

Good deal! Glad to see someone getting out! It's the same here! The water temp is wacked out and the fish are still deerp. It's supposed to get hot this weekend if I am not chasing springers I might have to go test the waters. Hope it turns on so we can get to shooting :IBCOOL: Need some good film as well 8)

Are you going to be shooting the championship tourny? If so, post up a pic of your boat so I know who to look for! And maybe sit by a camp fire and have a few brews!

I have not made up my mind yet. I have not been shooting it. It is always right in the middle of my hay season and harvest :bash:

Here is my boat.
