What is with this bears face?

Found more bears on my trail cams and this one caught my eye. What the heck is going on with his face.

could be just new hair growing or thats the way he is. definately look for him this fall.

rubbage,watch out for clyde,he saw a bottle of used oil in my truck and thought I was baiting,it was the oil from the fish fry still good oil.he said no baiting for bears,that he would call the gammies.I told him it is legal to bait just not hunt over them.He said they wont have it on the property...and out you will go...I said not to worry I dont haul bait out if Im baiting,he gave my truck a good look over...I was taking my tree stands out,he was stopping everyone at the 500

Maybe a little rubbing there, but it could just be the color his face is. I have seen bears that had 5 or 6 different shades on them.

They typically get that when they are stuffing there heads in holes in barrels that have sharp edges.
