Big moose pic in Random photos
« on: June 07, 2008, 09:21:00 AM »
I saw this giant bull moose pic in the random photos on the right side of the board.  Was this bull taken in WA?  Man, that is a monster!

Beautiful bull!  Nice contrast with the white Jimmy in the background.

Wow, that is a stud, especially if it's a lower 48 bull, hell I'd be happy with him when I go to Northern Alberta this fall!
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Decent bull but won't be big enough for my Alaska moose hunt this fall!!

Definitely not a Shiras (or WY) IMO.  I helped butcher a real brute shot here in WA in '97 and his rack would have fit well inside this one.  And how the heck do you get so lucky to dump such a monster where you can drive a truck to!!!!!
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

That'd be 1 hell of a Shiras.  Based on his fronts I'd bet he's AK/Yukon flavor... maybe big Canadian though.

I would have to bet Canadian...BUT...I think there are moose like that in N. ID NE WA... just my opinion though...that guy is sitting well back behind that moose. His fronts are really the only outstanding thing if you look real hard...

Am I crazy??? :IBCOOL:

Let me see if I can find a big moose pic to compare him to...
