Elk area 4941 Skagit river area

Has anyone tried hunting that Elk area 4941 unit? I was on my way to scout deer last year during archey and there was a bunch of elk down there along the River. Some really nice bulls.

The area is almost entirely private.  The purpose of the hunt is for damage control, elk are down there ususally in the winter month's.  If you can gain access to private property where they are located it can be good, but ususally locals have that sewed up!
