Well, I am kinda dissappointed I did not draw 14 mule deer or 18 bull, so it is time for a backup plan. I think I am gonna do the Elk City A tag this year, and archery hunt the rut in 15. If that fails, I know where to get a cow in 14 in late november.
I have never been to 15, and never hunted bulls in the rut. We plan on doing a couple scouting trips down there this summer. Has anyone done this hunt? What are the Elk numbers like in 15? And any advice is greatly appreciated on this unit.
Also, If anyone wants to do this hunt with me, just let me know.
