Taxidermy Exposition and Competition
« on: June 20, 2011, 05:49:19 PM »
For the first time, Pasco, WA will host a National/International Taxidermy Exposition and Competition.

Dates:  January 12-15, 2012
Place:   Pasco Red Lion Hotel
Sponsor:  United Taxidermist Association, Inc.

This event will have something for everyone - over 40 vendors from all parts of the Taxidermy world including tanneries, suppliers, mold makers, flat artists, glass eye makers and more.  There will be conservation organizations and others as well.  While the event caters to taxidermists, all are welcome.  Numerous seminars will be held by world champion wildlife artists plus hundreds of competitive mounts of all types and sizes - reptiles to African game, birds to bears.  Mark your calender to be present.  IF you have to travel, special room rates are available for $77/nite at the Red Lion.  Registration fees for United Taxidermist Association members is only $100 - for nonmembers the fee is $140.  Both are extremely inexpensive for what you will see and have access to - this area will have never seen the natural history display like will be here Jan 12-15.

There will also be time for public viewing, if that is your interest.  To see the competition room and the mounts a fee of $5.00 will be payable at the door.  Children 10 and under are free.
