LMAO Tony, it has taken me two years to save up enough cabelas credit card points to get this thing. I am going to spend the next 6 months just sleeping with it beside me  :chuckle:

Looks great, but you might want to compare with Humminbird.  DI and SI built into their units....no black box.  With the new units they link together.  For what Lowrance charges for that box you can almost purchase a 798SI HD with SI and DI.  You'll save money.

Oh and as for service....just google Lowrance and Humminbird customer service.  That may just make your mind up for you.  Seems folks like Lowrance until they need service.  Humminbird on the other hand seems to take care of customers.  At least that has been my experience.

X2   Humminbird has had great customer service, immediate responses when contacting them.  BTW, contact was not for a problem.  Lowrance has ignored four contact requests.
