WDFW needs to get on top of these wolf sightings,
Quote from: Idabooner on December 24, 2011, 02:19:15 PMAt 1:35 this afternoon 5 wolves trotted the length of the big field across the river from Carlton, They were moving in a line 100 yards long, they had a plan and were going some place. Didn't have time to set the scope up but watched in the bino's. They were in sight less than 5 minutes.I assume this is the Lookout Pack?Which GMU is that where you saw these wolves?WDFW needs to get on top of these wolf sightings, how will they ever confirm Washington's wolf packs with only 1 trapper. We've already got wolves all over the state and they cannot seem to keep up with the first pack confirmed in the state.

Got a call from my cousin this morning at 7:53 am. He had just stopped at Watt canyon to glass with his new spotting scope he got for xmas. He saw two wolves there. He first thought those are big coyotes, and after he put the binos down and put his new spotting scope to use. He realized he was looking at two wolves. He said there was no doubt that what he and his girlfriend seen were not coyotes.
I keep hearing that folks around Goldendale are seeing them in the simcoes. And a few people have seen them a couple miles out of town. I don't have any photos but I was wondering if any one has seen or heard anyone else sighting any this far south?
A female wolf with a radio collar from the Diamond pack in Pend Oreille county was trapped and killed in Idaho on December 20th as reported by Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game. It was reported in the Northwest Sportsman.
