Wolf howls in asnwer to bugles in the Taneum (GMU 336).  GPS coordinates sent to WDFW.  As the crow flies about 12 miles from Easton.

A buddie of mine ran into a couple of fellows up in the stamped pass area a few weeks ago said they were federal agents conducting a coyote study setting up game camera sites trying to locate packs of the critters, their story didnt pass the smell  test   so  he didnt offer them any information, if there are wolfs in this area you would think  gaining the turst of the locals would be something these so called wolf experts would want to persue, not the smartest bunch of city slickers.

A few weeks ago on the Rob Endsley radio show a WDFW official said they had had tranqued one near Snoqualmie Summit.

I saw some pretty big "dog" skat on a old logging spur above lake Kachess last weekend. Some of it marked on top of bear skat.

Ran into 2 bowhunters today that have a cabin off of Cougar Creek near the old town of Bodie. He said they saw a lone wolf up there last year while bowhunting.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

My dad swears two wolves ran across the road in front of him while he was sitting in his truck at sunrise on Oct. 1, 2007 up Milk Creek road a couple miles below Milk Lake. I would hope he could tell the difference between them and yotes. He has seen wolves before when we were in Montana. Had a pack of 7 to 10 run by us chasing a deer and fawn less than 70 yards away oblivious to our presence.

We need every wolf report, even from previous years, but the reports are useless without some basic info:

Date
Sighting, Tracks, Howling?
How many?
GMU (game management unit)
Drainage or Mountain
Post Any Photos
WDFW also wants cordinates, get them here: http://wdfw.wa.gov/conservation/gray_wolf/reporting/

Please include the above info, THANKS.

Talked to a Border Patrol Agent today. He said another agen saw a wolf near Bolster Rd in Chesaw this year. Also, agents have seen 2 wolves near the " Wedge Pack ", area, but that's a given.

I heard a lone wolf last night about one mile north of Tiger Meadow in Stevens County. He/She was responding to a pack of wolves that were even further north. We have been working in that area over the past couple of months and there have been a couple of reported sightings and people have definitely been hearing them.

Hey fellas,
Was back and forth on weather I should share these pics....
I was out in one of my normal areas and was scanning the road for cougar/ bear tracks... and came across these monsters... the pics really don't do them Justis, standing there and seeing dog tracks that were 2-3 times  size of any dog track I have ever seen... and seeing the distance between foot tracks, looked like the size of a horse....   really erry...   I fallowed the tracks for about 3/4 mi.  the tracks, would fallow road, dip into timber for 20-75 yards then back into timber... then dissipated N. into timber....

These tracks were not very far outside of Leavenworth.
I Love Mule Deer.
