Went Fishing, sort of....
« on: July 09, 2011, 07:17:45 PM »
Went fishing with the Princess of YAR today.  These little buggers were the only thing biting.  :chuckle:  Need to find a good crappie or catfish spot here in the Gorge.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

LOL...those little pumpkinseed sunfish are everywhere it seems. Truth be told, when I bring my young niece and nephew out fishing and nothing's biting we target them just so that the kids have some fun. I can no longer fool my youngest son though. He thinks they are "little kid" fish now.

I will say this though, they are some of the prettiest fish in this region. The colors on them are amazing.

Anyone know of any crappie or catfish spots here in the Gorge?  The Columbia River does not have much for bank access around here.   :bash: :bash: :bash:   Unlike our neighbors to the south that seem to have plenty of access.  :bash: :bash: :bash:

Huntbear, you need to drive up river just a bit, go to the fruit stand just on the Wa. side of the Biggs bridge, you can drive the gravel road in for several miles there area several decent spots down by the pump and past it, you will see where the favorite spots are. After dark is best for cat fishing and... And make sure you bring something BIG as mentioned above.  :yike:

Love the charteuse nail polish. It's always a must to have the polish match the lure, or bobber in your case. Ha ha My GF always has nail polish to match the hatch. It's almost embarrassing that I know that. My god, what am I turning into!  :yike:
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!
