AEV builds some very trail capable parts and Jeeps.

Two words that don't go together. *censored* and jeep

I will have to agree, but this is a nice heep! Dose it have 8 control arms made of thin metal? Or did they improve? All that HP to push the massive 33" tires.

Rolled over 5 times in a buddies Jeep. I will never ride in another one again.

That thing WANTED to roll over. We weren't going fast, weren't on steep grade, it was a scary experience that made me realize how unsafe Jeeps really are.

thats cool, but what does he need 425 hp in a little jeep? other than the motor im not that impressed for the amount of money he dumped into it, he could have done much better with 20k, and by the way it dont matter what kind of truck you got everyone gets stuck in the mud sooner or later lol why do you think they have a winch? not to pull my diesel out ;)

My toy does damn good, locked front and rear, highsteer, dual transfer cases with 4.7 gear set in rear case, 63" Chevy springs in rear, stock rears up front, 5" shackles, 6shooter knuckles with arp studs, longfield super axles, 38" swampers with beadlocks, bilstien remote resivor shocks up front, 14" bilstien in rear. Oh ya and powered by  a tbi 4.3l chevy v6. Full exo cage.

I'm just flippin crap about jeeps, but the truth is they are both very capable rigs, if set up right! I don't bash anyone who loves and supports the offroad community and respects the trails

some guy had a tj with a 5.7 hemi from a dodge magnum in it for sale around here, not really sure what happened to it, but it was freaking sweet, id kill to have a hemi in my jk unlimited.

about a month ago i was out in burlington and i heard what i thought was a diesel truck pull up to an intersection... turns out it was a jk 2door with a cummins diesel in it, i saw the cummins badge on the side
catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

I smoke two fish in the morning, I smoke two fish at night, I smoke two fish in de afternoon makes me feel alright

Everyone is going to the cummins 4bt conversion. The only thing, what do you need 800ftlbs of torque for wheeling(or the road in this case)? Know one in a 67 Bronco, he is pushing 1000ftlbs of torque. Its heavy as hell, and not lifted to push bigger tires????? Dont get me wrong, to each their own but alot of money, then things break, then it goes away...

Sounds to me like you should be giving Chev a pat on the back more than Toyota.  Sounds like a cool rig.

Thats a pretty popular swap, no? A tech I used to work with did that with his Yota...the 4.3 swap.

Yeah its a really common swap

Same as the chevy small blocks in a FJ.

Toyotas are all about the Chevy engines.
