It was really good around the 4th of July.....jigging at the Winter Hole. About as good as I had seen it in early July. Lots of action but I haven't been back and I haven't seen many reports of area 6 so it may have slowed. Hope that help.......Les

Here's a topic I Posted the first of the month. http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,78982.0.html
It's been an early morning bite, (day light) It did turn on off the hook Friday at 1:30pm. Went out yesterday let go 3 natives right at day light. We ended up with 3 keepers and one 5lb Pink. 95ft on downriggers after the bite slowed went down to 120 and started picking them up again. There were pinks all over the top but didn't seem to be biting very well. The one we got was at 95ft.
Going out again today 4:30am
My two from yesterday

Nice Fish......Did you get those along the Hook?.......or maybe in that fog you couldn't tell. Been there, Done that before. Hope you did well today. I have been seeing where the King fishing has stayed pretty good at Neah Bay so that bodes well for decent fishing until mid-August. Have you heard how any of the locals have been doing at Freshwater??.....thanks for your input..........Les
