----Buyers Remorse----
« on: July 20, 2011, 01:53:13 PM »
I purchased a canon T3i/600D, after shooting it a bunch over the last 2 weeks I feel it is too small of body for my hand. I was looking at the 60D at the same time and it has the larger body. Anybody have any thoughts on this.
The 60D is a bit more money, but I want to be comfortable shooting.
For now I just have the kit lenses, but have read about 80 pages of the photo section and have some strong ideas where to go from the kit lense setup.
Anyone on here shoot either one of these I would appreciate your input.

Quad,
In my humble opinion, a camera is just like a bow or a rifle. It absolutely Must Fit your hands comfortably and also your needs! If the camera doesn't feel right in your hands either sell it or take it into the shop you bought it from and see if they will take it in trade for a bigger camera. You are going to take a hit in value because it is now a used camera, but if you don' like the feel of it now you won't use it, so you will have wasted more money on it. :(

The good news is I have 30 days to exchange, so I won't take a hit. I'm going to the shop tomorrow to try the 60D, and maybe fit the T3i with a battery pack to see how that feels in the hand. I'll let you know. Thanks for the input

Get used to the remorse.   It gets even worse when you start buying glass.   Goodluck on your decision.  I'm still turning out a ton of photos with the 40D.  Its a good line.
