Don't we all. I'm of the same thought, Malloy will set off a firestorm if he halts this years hunt. I think it will pressure Congress to change the ESA, I also hope and pray that a change in the White House happens next year, not just for this issue but for the sake of the country. Hopefully we will not get another President Bush or a McCain type as they are just as bad as the Dems when it comes to spending. A fiscal conservative is what we so desperately need.
I don't think anyone gets to vote on Malloy, I'm 90% certain Malloy was appointed for lifetime by Bill Clinton. Judges are not appointed for life, they are appointed for "good behavior". So if congress had the balls they could remove him tomorrow.
In one respect I almost hope Malloy closes the wolf season, that will push congress over the edge, they will see that Malloy is trying to single handedly control wolf management. I think such a move by Malloy would result in the ESA being changed, which it may get changed anyway, especially if there is a change in the Senate majority and Whitehouse in the next election cycle.

I agree with you bearpaw. I almost hope Malloy closes the season this year.
