I would agree on the west of the river pumpkin patch comment, there is a lot a remote country up entiat still as long as u can get off the roads....

You've got to realize that the buck was hit in early Jan. and had migrated out of another area.  The buck had been living in this area since early Dec. and had moved off the mountain to go on to the winter range when he was hit.

Back when the season closed in Nov. there were some nice bucks shot each year up there, but now very few for the amount of hunters.

Hit in the Entiat and fell out of a truck.  THats FUNNY!    and 190 bucks, 5 of them stnading on the hi-way in Alta.   Not selling any oceanfront in AZ are you?

I am not sure if it was the same buck, but I was at that DFW office near Entiat when a buck like that was brought in by the guy who hit it. He had a whole bunch of pictures take of him with the buck.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Bone, None in AZ but I think he has a couple acre's up Alta he wants to sell.  ;)
