Not a bowhunter but I know alot about this area. If i were you I would find some water and set up an ambush point. tons of elk in this area.

I have a rifle cow tag for this area and it should be fairly easy to fill it....

Need a little more info PM me and I can give you some ideas of where to go...

I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

Hunted it last year and was in elk just about everyday but didn't connect. We had 1 cow taken in our camp. The butcher at Nile Vally Processing said quite a few were coming in from there when my cousin dropped his off.

I hunted it last year, a lot of elk, but also a ton of hunters and after the 1st day, the elk were all spooked. Even way off the roads.

You talking about archery hunters?  Hey hunters...quit spooking the elk.  Walk slower, kill what you see ;P

Ya, the kind of archery hunters who get in and spook the elk and then think they can actually catch them so they keep chasing them  :chuckle:
