I have always hunted the Evening for bear.....Got a few by dumb luck in the mornings....but usually I focus targeting them in the evening...especially now that calling is my main way of hunting them.....

I'd have to agree, mornings in August. All day in Sept. I'd still hunt all day in August, though...

I like evening hunts (3 pm-ish on to dusk)...probably cause I dont like having to wake up a 330 am to beat the sunrise...

I've had lots of luck in the morning, I just prefer evenings. Im a night owl anyway.

I've killed more in the evenings but have seen plenty in the AM too.  I might have killed more in evening because I'm able to hunt the evenings all week long.
