« on: August 02, 2011, 08:47:55 AM »
ok i have about 265$ to get a pair of binoculars and i am not decided! i have looked through both pairs of binos and cabelas and the diamond back is 230$ and the rebels are 130$.

Vortex diamondback-
10x42
230$
lifetime warranty no mater what happends to them.
lightweight

Redfield Rebels
10x42
130$
alright warranty but not great
midweight

i like both but i want to hear about what you guys who have them have to say about them, please leave your opinnion, thanks

wait a sec, i thought redfields got the same superdy duper lupy warranty that everyone goes crazy for?  :chuckle:

If you couldnt notice a difference in the store, then either ask the clerk to take them outside in the evening or go with the redfields to save fore gas money or....get these and see a difference.

yes I have put the BVII's next to redfeilds..... and no the redfields couldnt compete.

well the rebels warranty is good because its lifetime but it is limited unlike the vortex which is unlimited and you dont have to fill out and stupid warranty sheets.
i will definantly look into those minox though.

I have looked through both and I would go with the Vortex Diamondback's.  I am quickly becoming a vortex fan.

get the redfields i just bought the  same ones at cabelas 3 weeks ago and i will say the glass quality is great for the price plus the easy focus dial on top is excellent feature. i have used them 5 or 6 times scouting up above enumclaw and they already been dropped in water and mud but are still as good as when i bought them.
