1000+ pics later and finally got an animal
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:31:48 PM »
Got this bear on my trail cam the other day as it passed through the area.  This was the only pic and it hasn't been back by since, but hey, its a bear on the camera so I am happy.

You state 1000+ pics and finally got a animal, is that due to tree branches setting up your camera or  slow shutter speed?

My first spot had a tree infront of it that apparently the Ravens and Vultures liked to sit in.  Got 873 pics of birds the first set.  Second set I got 270+ of the same thing.  Moved the camera quite a ways away to a couple cross trails I have had luck getting pics on before and in walks Booboo.  Still hasn't been back.  Oddly enough, there are tons of Deer tracks in this spot, but I have never gotten a pic of a deer on either of my cameras.
