are you using an electronic caller? cause if you are maybe you could set it up where you were and then sneak into the woods where you think they held up and then set your electronic caller off, maybe they will walk right into you..

Yep. I am using my foxpro. I thaught about doing that but I was by myself. I might try that next time I go out. maybe my partner and I set up at either side of where they hung up? I will be trying everything possible to get a bear this year. This was my second time calling for bears and the second time they have come in but not shown themselves. It is an adrenaline rush knowing they are close and they think there is prey nearby.

I had thaught about that but thaught it was too thick for them to see out of the brush they are in. I may not have caught them peeking out or am unable to see a lane that they could see out of. I will have to see if I can build some kind of motion decoy. It will have to be pretty bigor at least tall to get above the brush. Any ideas?

a tall stick with either some feathers or a ratcoon tail, and stick it in the ground and tie a string to it and just give it a yank every now and again, i think you will have alot more fun if you hide inside the tree line and leave your caller out on the cut. just know what the thermals are doing at whatevevr time you are huntn, might make all the differance in the world..  :twocents:
