Fish Market Chelan to Pateros?
« on: August 09, 2011, 11:01:54 AM »
I've been down at the Columbia below Wells dam the last couple to nights (from shore), without any luck on Kings. The son wants salmon for birthday dinner today. Where should I go to get a slab I can BBQ at camp in Chelan.

Call Costco East Wenatchee and see if they have some. They should have wild and farm raised salmon

No local salmon? Natives? OMG... Did I just suggest that I'd buy a fish from a native?

There's not much between Chelan and Pateros.  Your best bet might be the Safeway in Chelan, I hate to say that though...

I realize there's nothing between Chelan and Pateros. I was hoping to stay out of Safeway...  Manson is only a few minutes from me. Might make a run there. What about the Bridgeport area?

The Red Apple in Mason usually has a good selection of seafood.  I've gotten silvers there for a good price along with oysters!!!

Book a trip with one of the local guides.  Kill 2 birds with one stone -- Birthday present and dinner. :twocents:

Safeway had some good Sockeye.  Man.. I hate buyin fish but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.  Would have been nicer if I could have actually caught one myself on short notice.  Kids!   :chuckle:
