Elk Thief
« on: August 14, 2011, 06:54:56 PM »
My friend caught this elk rifling through their camping supplies, he must have needed pancake syrup more than they did (see attached pictures for proof).  These pictures were taken in Packwood last week.

Wow.................your setting up for the flea market early. :chuckle: That little guy was on our property last week.
But love of the wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need - if only we had eyes to see.

Huh! What kind of syrup did you have in there.....you may be recieving a contract from primos for rights to sell your stuff!  "Attract the bulls right into camp, with the new maple madness, rut edition. Only available from Primos!"
I've spent most of my life hunting and fishing....the rest has been wasted

dude that is awesome, so now all you gotta do is rub yourself down with syrup and you will get an elk, make sure you get plenty in your hair though, and please get good video of it.... hey heres a thought if a guy rubbs himself down with syrup to attract elk and a bear comes after ya, would it be considered baiting?  :chuckle:  :tung:

A native hitting the bottle?  Wouldn't want to break a stereotype!

I thought it was funny too!  Work with and have friends of all different nationalities and we always joke and play with each other.  People need to relax!

I have seen alot of different critters try to "rifle" through the supplies, but never an elk.  Thats cool.  Have had them in camp after hours and have had them bugle into the tent......  Never have had them "hit the jug" though.

HAHA  look mom no hands...  thats a great pic!!!
~  ~One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like "hey, there's an *censored*."”

Be come one with Nature......... Then Marinade it.

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.
