Idaho panhandle is looking good!
« on: August 15, 2011, 04:48:09 PM »
Got into a few bulls last weekend, finally got up there early enough to catch them feeding before the temp got to high.  Set up a trail cam cant wait to see what else i missed.  Can't believe the season opens in 2 weeks!  Gonna set up camp in another week and then the fun begins!  And I havent seen hide nor hair of a wolf.  Anyone else jacked for the opener yet?!

I was over there in the Panhandle this weekend and saw quite a few animals too. No bulls only cows

Looking good over there this year

Of course you haven't seen any wolves, they are all over here now  :chuckle:

Where bouts you headed?  With each passing year I keep telling myself I need to make the 5 mile drive across the state line and give it a shot over there

In the woods ; ). Yeah I was on the fence for a couple years, then I found myself hunting the border if WA/ID and decided to go for it, more elk and better odds than ne WA. I'll hunt it till I have kids and can't afford it anymore.
