Free crab bait
« on: August 20, 2011, 12:04:37 PM »
I have about 14-18 salmon carcasses (no guts just head, spine, bellies etc.) in the freezer and wanted to see if someone who lives close by Renton wants to have them for crab bait -free. Otherwise I put them in garbage .I'm home smoking fish this weekend ,so just email me or pm me.. with your phone # and I call you .
Everyone thinks that I'm freak ,I don't look different do I ?

You read my mind! Dang that sounds good! Except I wouldnt have thought to use the carcass for that... I was thinking the same as Cap - use them for crab bait. I do the same thing, stuff them in the freezer then use them up at the Islands for crab. I would come get them from you but I am in Woodinville. Or I bury them in my wife's garden - the strawberries seem to love them!
I aint superstitious - cuz its bad luck!

I use my carcasses for crab bait also. They work great. When I had a garden i used them for fertilizer. They work great for that also.

Thanks but I have plenty of crab bait right now. My GF hates going in the freezer in the garage because of all the fish eyes staring back at her! Ha ha I think it's great. I ended up not going because my friend didn't make it over. I went fishing instead.
