Also setting up on the third.  I have a Peaches Ridge Bull tag this year.  Planning to set up a base camp off a road for the older hunters in the group, then set up a spike camp much further back in for me.  I know where the elk are now but it is Little Naches, they won't be there come the 6th, hoping I can find them.

Going up on the 31st to set up camp. Stay the night and and head home on the 1st. Gonna work the Roy Rodeo over the weekend then heading back up on Monday, the 5th. Staying the whole season, even if i bag an elk on opening day. The ol lady is coming up on the 9th to stay the weekend. Should be a good time. It always is.

One of our crew is heading up on the 31st to set up and do a little deer hunting before the elk opener.  I'll be dragging the trailer over on the 3rd.  Can't wait for this week to be over!  Good luck to all.

My thought exactly.  Too bad Ill be stuck at work lol.  I can't wait for the fresh cool air, the smells sounds and good memories!  This wait is killing me, but it will make it that much more fun when I get there!

Two more weeks for me.  Only 1 week of vacation.  Heading up for the second week; leaving on the 9th.  Good luck to all.  It is a different year for sure (moisture, browse, animal location)...

my moms birthday corks us every year. its on the third so we wont be headed out till sunday the 4th. not that big a deal though since we are hunting private land and camping in a driveway with the trailer plugged into the house. no one will be taking our camping spot!
they call me the bloodhound cause i can track a wounded animal in the rain for 2 days when all it has is a splinter.. sniff sniff awooo
