Looking to do a dove hunt this Thursday. Haven't dove hunted in almost 30 years. I've got a place to duck hunt over here that is from phenomenal to pretty good. Mid-season is the best. We can pass shoot, decoy having birds fly left to right or right to left, have them flutter down through the trees or jumpshoot. Of course water level, wind direction, adjacent property hunting pressure all will dictate the best way to hunt any particular day. Most years at this time I am getting ready for our annual grouse camp but, there ain't gonna be one this year.
